What is Yum Cha?

Yum Cha is a Cantonese tradition of brunch that involves drinking Chinese tea and sharing dim sum with a friend. The practice is popular in Cantonese-speaking communities.  At Mama Mulan, we offer an unparalleled menu of Yum Cha in Chatswood. Yum Cha generally involves small portions of steamed, pan-fried, and deep-fried dim sum dishes served in bamboo steamers, which are designed to be eaten communally and washed down with tea.

Global Culinary Inspiration Meets Chinese Traditions

Dishes like our Deep-fried Foie Gras Puffs or our Sydney Rock Oyster with Finger Lime, Lemon Granita & Coriander Oil surprise your senses, opening up a brand new world of what modern Chinese cuisine can be!
